Zackery Loney

Zackery Samuel Loney, 17, of Paradise passed away July 3, 2015 in Grand Canyon, Arizona. A celebration of life will be held 11:00 am Monday July 13, 2015 at the Paradise High School Gym. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Paradise High School for the Zackery Loney Memorial Scholarship. Zackery was born March 30, 1998 in Dallas, Texas to Scott and Margart Loney. He loved to travel, play basketball and tennis and was an avid video gamer. Computer applications and chemistry were some of his interests. Zackery was a member of the National Beta Club. He was also a Student Council Officer, Class Officer, “A” Honor roll student and a UIL Academic participant. Zackery would have been a senior this year at Paradise High School. He is survived by: Parents, Margart D. Loney and Scott C. Loney; brothers, Nicholas Loney and Christopher Loney; grandmothers, Margaret S. Collins and Joan Loney. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lawrence A. Donnelly and Bill Loney. Great grandparents, Bill and Viola Loney; great grandfather, Leroy Weidman.
