Funeral services for Zane Trachta, 26, of Decatur, will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 21, at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, Texas. Zane went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2022.
Zane was born October 8, 1996, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Cody Trachta and Amy Koontz. He graduated from Decatur High School in 2015. He was an athlete who loved sports; Zane excelled in basketball and football and loved motorcross and riding dirt bikes. He worked as a wireline operator in the oil and gas industry. Zane was so loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his parents; brothers, Drake Trachta and wife Destini of Springtown, and Brody Trachta and wife Selena Perez of Springtown, Coltyn Strickland of Paradise; sister, Kynzlie Trachta of Paradise; grandparents, Dan and Jeanette Jennings of Sunset, Biff and Debbie White of Winters, and Wayne and Gay Trachta of Decatur; and a host of family and friends.
Zane is preceded in death by his grandfather, Eddie Koontz; great-grandparents, Richard and Laura Trachta, and Eula Grace Cain.
