Wanda Adams

Wanda Lee Adams, 80, of Bridgeport, Texas passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Decatur, Texas. No services are planned. Wanda was born May 5, 1934 in McCamey, Texas to Letha (Holcomb) and Marce Luther Bertran. She was a homemaker who loved to paint and spend time with people. She also loved spending time with her pug dog, Banjo. She was a past member of the Aurora Baptist Church. Wanda is survived by two sons, Ronnie and Wayne Akins; daughter Janice Carlock; sister Rose Hooper; her special granddaughter Ashley Adams and six other grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Gerald Wesley Adams; son Rodney Adams; brother Marce Luther Bertran, Jr.; and sister Wilma Hughes.
