Walter "Jay" Henry, Jr.

See you soon...

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Walter Henry Jr. Most of you may know him as Jay Henry, but we knew him as Dad. Throughout his life, he never stopped showing us how much we meant to him. He was an incredibly hard worker, and he never gave up. Through the years, we watched and learned how he loved our Mom and taught us what it meant to be a loving and caring family, how to be there for each other in the hard times and how to cherish the good times. It is because of him that we have persevered through this crazy world, holding steadfast to the truth that he was praying for us—rooting for us—believing in us. His love for God was the only thing that trumped our Dad’s love for his family. He taught us about Christ at young ages, and with that, we grew even closer in our faith and fellowship. Although our Dad has passed from this mortal plane, he lives strongly in our hearts and minds, and the wake of his influence will spread through generations. Until we are together again he will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed.

Walter “Jay’”Henry Jr. went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 16th, 2021.  His kind and gentle nature made an impression on all he met. His wit, humor, genuineness, caring heart, and love for Jesus will be treasured by all of those who knew him. He is missed by his wife Deedee Henry, his children Jillian (Matt) Leach, Chad(Caitlin) Henry, Jenni (Dalton) Bradley, and his eight grandchildren: Hunter, Titus, Braxton, Eliott, Wyatt, Lyla, Gavin, and Alexis. Siblings: Sandy Becker, Ray Henry, Dennis (Pat) Henry, Jim Henry, Patti Henry, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by, Walter Henry Sr. (father), Mary Henry (mother), Guy Becker (BIL).
