Memorial Services for Terry Len Tarpley, 65, of Chico, Texas, will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the Bowie Community Center in Bowie, Texas.
Terry was born on February 5, 1958, in Jacksboro, Texas, to Billy Ray and Jo Marie (Beverage) Tarpley. He peacefully passed away November 12, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Terry led a fulfilling life working in the oilfield and as a truck driver before retirement. He dedicated many years of his life to his career and created countless memories along the way. Terry’s determined spirit and strong work ethic were admired by all who knew him.
In addition to his successful career, he had a deep passion for the great outdoors. Terry was an avid sportsman and found solace in hunting and fishing with both rifle and bow. He cherished the moments spent in nature, embracing the thrill of the hunt and the peace that came with casting a line into clear waters. Terry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Terry’s memory are his daughters Patricia Joann Tarpley Graham and Debra Kay Tarpley Peterson; brothers Rickie Dale and Gary Glen Tarpley; sister Sherral Ann Tarpley Maxwell; grandchildren Caleb Wayne Graham and Jathan Christopher Graham; and a host of family and friends.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents Billie Ray Tarpley and Jo Marie Beverage Tarpley Cross.
