Sherry Gale Taylor

A graveside service for Sherry Gale (Harral) Taylor, 70, of Bridgeport, Texas will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Willow Point Cemetery, south of Bridgeport. Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate. No visitation is planned. Sherry passed away Wednesday, January 2 in Decatur.

She was born in Denton, Texas June 24, 1948 to Eugene ‘Jack’ and Nellie M. (Anderson) Harral. She married Albert Duncan Taylor on August 23, 1963 in Denton, Texas. The couple moved to Bridgeport in 1973, where Albert served with the Bridgeport PD for 27 years.

Sherry served as a court clerk for the City of Bridgeport and Rhome for 30 years.

She is survived by son Edmond Dwayne Taylor and wife Shawna of Fort Worth, Texas; daughters Barbara Lynn Elliott of Poolville, Texas, Leslie Taylor Sparks and husband Randy of Brownwood, Texas, and Amanda Michell Taylor of Denton; 14 grandchildren: Ryan, Brianna, Patti, Harley, Blue Jean, Brittanie, Cole, Dalton, Kasie, Lacy, Dylan, Darringer, Brayden, and Bella; and five great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Sterling, Pandora, Lilly, and Chloe.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Nellie Harral, husband Albert Taylor, and other family.
