Sherry "Oma" Mangis Jackson

A Celebration of Life for Sherry "Oma" Mangis Jackson, 68, of Bridgeport, Texas, will be held at a later date.

Dear Oma,

In lieu of an official obituary we wanted to write you a letter. We are truly in awe of the impact that you have had on our lives and how hard it has been to lose you. While we know that you are in a better place it is hard to imagine life without you. You gave and sacrificed every day to give us a good life. You shaped us into the people that we are today and prepared us to be successful in this world. You did the same for your grandchildren Wyatt, Kenzie, and K.J. You shared an amazing love for life and creativity that will live on in all of us. You always gave of yourself for your family, your students, and anyone else that needed anything. You fought so hard for such a long time to be here for all of us through sickness and pain. We appreciated every moment, but are so glad that you are no longer suffering. You are loved by us and many others.

May God’s eternal peace be with you.

Sammy, Sherrill, Kenny, and Wesley

Revelation 21:4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
