Sharon Gail Deaton Daves, 64, of Bridgeport, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, August 9, 2013 in the Chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Pastor Joey Vick will officiate. Pallbearers are Wesley Bo Hall, Paul Simpson, Dusty Wilson, Jimmy Wade McDaniel, Jr., Jimmy Wade McDaniel III, and Brandon Deaton. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the funeral home. Sharon was born May 31, 1949, in Bridgeport to Lotella (Sparks) and Johnny C. Deaton. She married Harry Daves in 1980 in Decatur, Texas. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of thirty-three years; son Jimmy Wade McDaniel, Jr. and wife Renee; daughter Kathie Simpson and husband Paul; grandchildren Kandi Breger, Dusty Wilson, Johnathon Smith, Sally Smith, Jessie Smith, Madison McDaniel, Jimmy Wade McDaniel III, and Bailey Escobedo; and great-grandchildren Johnathon, Makenzleigh, Jude, Tatum, and James. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Johnny Wayne and Bobby Eugene Deaton; and daughter-in-law Mary McDaniel.
