Mass of Christian Burial for Sebastiana Huizar Gomez, 45, of Bridgeport, Texas, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2026, at St. John the Baptizer Catholic Church in Bridgeport with burial at Eastside Cemetery. Family visitation is 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport with rosary at 7.
Pallbearers will include Carlos Estrada, Marlen Estrada, Carlos Estrada, Jr., Cesar Estrada, Jose Hernandez, and Gerardo Huizar/Claudia Diaz.
Sebastiana Huizar Gomez, born on April 21, 1980, in Nochistlan Zacatecas, Mexico, to Juan and Maria (Gomez) Huizar. passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.
Sebastiana was married to Carlos Estrada in Zacatecas, Mexico in 1997, and they shared 28 wonderful years together. She was known for her vibrant spirit and her love for her family. Sebastiana enjoyed exercising, coloring, and spending quality time with her loved ones. Her ability to bring joy and warmth to those around her will not be forgotten.
Sebastiana’s family and friends remember her for the love she shared and the happiness she created. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Juana Huizar of Jalisco, Mexico.
Those left to cherish Sebastiana’s memory are her husband, Carlos Estrada; sons, Carlos Estrada Jr. and Cesar Estrada; daughter, Marlen Estrada; parents, Juan Huizar and Maria Gomez; brothers, Manuel, Roberto, Crispin, Abraham, Alfredo, and Mario; sisters, Raquel, Chayo, and Olga; grandchildren, Karla, Maria, and Gardenia; as well as many extended family and friends.
