Ruth Allen Wade

Ruth Allen Wade, 92 of Runaway Bay passed away Sunday in Decatur.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm at Christ Fellowship Church of Lake Bridgeport on Saturday July 22, 2017.

Ruth was born on May 7, 1925 in Long Point, Illinois to Lloyd and Daisy Allen. She was a member of the Christ Fellowship Church of Lake Bridgeport, she also loved gardening and writing letters to her family.

She is survived by her daughters Laura Hightower and husband Gary of Runaway Bay, Peggy Brown and husband Steve of Fort Worth; and grandchildren Grant and Amanda Hightower.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth Wade, brother and sister.

Memorials can be made to the Diabetes Association.
