Rosemary Jeanne Cannon

A memorial service for Rosemary Jeanne Cannon, 70, of Bridgeport will be at 2:00pm, Saturday April 22, in the chapel of Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Pastor Larry Potts will be officiating. She passed away Sunday April 9, in Decatur. Rosemary was born on August 2, 1946, in Santa Monica, California. She was a dog groomer and owner of ‘Waggin Tails’ pet salon, a member of the Decatur 8ers Square Dancers Club and All Wise Choir. She loved singing, dancing, watching movies, riding motorcycles, surfing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Rosemary was a professional singer and member of the Acapella group “The Rich Tones Chorus Group of Dallas” and international group “Rich Tones Sweet Adelines”, she also enjoyed singing Opera. She is survived by sons Arthur Manuel and wife Amanda of Chico; grandchildren Fiona, and Vivian of Chico, Lance Perkins of Louisiana; a dear friend Emily Manning of Chico, and a host of many special friends and her chorus family. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Buck Cannon, daughter Cynthia Manuel, her mother, and brother.
