Rose "Rosie" (Moore) Campbell

A memorial service honoring the life of Rose “Rosie” Campbell, 63, of Mansfield, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. David Mosley will officiate.

Rose “Rosie” Marie (Moore) Campbell was born January 14, 1963, in Fort Worth, Texas, to James and Naomi Virginia (Owen) Moore. From the very beginning, Rosie brought warmth and joy to those around her. She carried that bright spirit with her through her school years and went on to graduate from Stephenville High School.

On February 29, 2000, Rosie married Larry Campbell in Fort Worth, Texas. Together they shared 26 cherished years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, companionship, and devotion before his passing.

Rosie found joy in the simple things, especially puzzles and card games, but her greatest happiness came from the people she loved. She had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh so contagious it could lift the spirits of everyone nearby. Rosie never met a stranger; she offered kindness freely and made countless friends throughout her life. Her grandsons, Joshua and TJ, were truly her heart, and she loved all of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. To them, she will forever be remembered as their “Favorite Aunt Rosie.” Her siblings will hold close the memory of their sweet , loving baby sister, whose presence brought so much joy to their lives. Rosie’s love, laughter, and gentle spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Rosie was welcomed into eternal rest by her beloved husband, Larry Campbell; her parents, James and Naomi Moore; her grandparents, Jess and Florence Moore, Winnie Mae South, and Fred Owen; and her nephew, Steven Paul.

Those left to cherish Rosie’s memory include her brothers, Dale Cobb and wife Sue of Decatur, Texas, and Curtis Moore of Decatur, Texas; sisters, Martha Cobb of Decatur, Texas, Carolyn Baty and husband Darrell of Keller, Texas, Donna Brown and husband Larry of Decatur,Texas, Marilyn Williamson and husband Harlon of Stephenville, Texas, and Cindy Paul of Nacogdoches, Texas; grandchildren, TJ Fisher and Joshua Fisher of Mansfield, Texas; nieces,Brianne Boyd, Mindy Jameson, Misty Williamson, Brandi Hodges, Kaley Williamson, and Lana Martin; nephews, Casey Cobb, Brody Brown, Chantz Williamson, Jake Cobb, Cody Paul, and Zach Paul; along with numerous great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
