Edith Roberta Stutt, 75, of Paradise, Texas passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 in Corinth, Texas. Funeral services are at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in the Chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery. Bo Johnson will officiate. Pallbearers are Clayt Roberts, Mike Beck, Jerry Beck, Mike Mitchell, Johnathan Mitchell, Curtis Langston, and Gary Derring. Visitation is from 3:00 – 5:00 PM Monday, September 7, 2015 at the funeral home. Roberta was born October 13, 1939 in Rule, Texas to Reba May (Reynolds) and Olen Rogers French. She was a caregiver and a member of the Church of Christ in Paradise. She married Wilbert Donald Stutt on June 6, 1964 in Chico, Texas. She is survived by her sons Doug and Tony Stutt of Paradise, Texas; daughter Judy Brinkley of Paradise; brother Theron French of Lubbock, Texas; and sisters Sheron Fain of Lubbock and Eunice Pace of Rule, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2009 and her parents.
