Robert Funcannon

Robert Lee Funcannon, 66 of Paradise, Texas passed away Sunday, November 20th 2016 at his home in Paradise. Robert was born February 20th, 1950 in Lafayette, Indiana to Robert L Funcannon and Vera (Von Kannon) Funcannon. Memorial will be set at a later date. He earned a BS degree in English where he developed a lifelong love of words. He was a paralegal and salesman for Cargill before finding his avocation and vocation in the field of organic farming. He was the publisher and editor of the "Living Natural First" magazine, a publication for the organic enthusiast. He was a medicinal herbalist. He was instrumental in the establishment and advertising of Farmers Markets and Co-Ops. He was a Mason a member of the Masonic Lodge Eureka #371. He is survived by his sister Alice Hodapp and her husband Chris of Indianapolis, IN. He was preceded in death by his wife Karen, his parents, and his brother David.
