Rickey Lynn Johnson

Rickey Lynn Johnson, 60, of New Fairview, passed away September 4, 2018 in Galveston, Texas. The family will have a private service at a later date.

Rickey was born September 9, 1957 in Grand Prairie, to Joe and Virgie Johnson. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Rickey loved fishing,and music, He was a third degree black belt in Kenpo Karate.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donnie Dorrell, Roger Dorrell, and Mike Johnson;and step-father, Toby Meadows.

Rickey is survived by his wife of 31 years Sandra Johnson; sons, Joshua Johnson,and Jesse Johnson; grandchildren, Johnathon Johnson, Adam Johnson, Sophia Nicole Johnson and, Emma Lynn Johnson; sister, Shirley Williams,and Carolyn Upchurch; and brother Joe Johnson.
