Raymond Cruz

Raymond Cruz, Sr, 58, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 25, at 12:00 PM in the chapel at Chancellor and Jones Family Funeral Home in Decatur with burial to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur, Texas. Family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 24, from 6-7 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Cruz was a painter for Trinity Industries where he worked for 28 years. He was an adoring husband, passionate family man, and a loving father and grandfather. He was also a loyal Cowboys fan for life. Raymond Cruz was born to Mercedes & Eluteria Cruz on February 4, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anna Cruz of Decatur; sons, Raymond Cruz, Jr. of Decatur, Marc Cruz of Decatur, Adam Cruz of Denton, and Paul Cruz of Decatur; daughters, Crystal Enyart and husband, Joseph of Denton, and Michelle Youngblood; six grandchildren, seven sisters, and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his father, Mercedes O. Cruz.
