Raymond Cruz, Jr., 38, of Decatur, passed away on December 29, 2016, in Decatur, Texas. Funeral service is Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home in Decatur. Burial will follow immediately at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Family visitation will be Monday, January 2, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, in the chapel. Raymond was born to Raymond Cruz, Sr., and Anna Hernandez Cruz on August 4, 1978 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a graduate of Alvord High School. He was working as a roustabout in the oilfield. He is survived by his mother, Anna Cruz; sister, Crystal Enyart and husband Joe; brothers, Adam Cruz, Paul Cruz and wife Michelle Youngblood, Marc Cruz; grandmothers, Lidia Flores and Eluteria Cruz; 3 nieces, 3 nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Cruz, Sr. and grandfathers, Nicacio Hernandez, Sr. and Mercedes Cruz, Sr.
