Randy Nabors

A memorial service for Randy Carroll Nabors, 69, of Bridgeport will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport at 2:00 pm. He died Friday, August 23, 2013 in Bridgeport. Randy was born December 31, 1943 in Bridgeport to R.J. and Lois Juanita (Knox) Nabors. He was a retired owner of T&R Trucking in Bridgeport. He also served his country in the United States Army as part of the 'Big Red One' during the Vietnam War. In the summer of 1965, the Big Red One was the first division called to fight in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife Mary Nabors; sons Bryan Nabors, Randall Berry, and stepson Tommy Hartsell; daughter LaLisa Chaney and husband Robbie; sister Sandra Whitt; grandchildren Jonathan Nabors, Eric and Josh Hartsell, Chris Webb, Stephanie Wahl, and Dustin Berry; great-granddaughter Corsi Nabors; and numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert Nabors, and grandmother 'Granny' Nabors.
