Nina Jean Weston

Funeral services for Nina Jean Weston, 84, of Boyd, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, with burial to follow at Garvin Cemetery in Boyd. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Pastor Mike Mojica will officiate.

Pallbearers will include Cody Watts, Trent Watts, Tristan Watts, Matthew Pruitt, Kayden Pruitt, Elliot Pruitt, and Rainey Ward.

Nina Jean (Finley) Weston was born April 1, 1941, in Grandfield, Oklahoma, to Ruben and Hiley (Teakell) Finley, and peacefully passed away on April 16, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Nina was a dedicated homemaker whose warmth and care touched the lives of many. She enjoyed playing canasta and had a passion for gardening and caring for her plants. Nina will be remembered for her kind spirit and the love she shared with those around her. She leaves behind a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew her.

Nina is preceded in death by her husbands, Ted Watts, Sr. and James C. Weston; daughter, Barbara Pruitt; and brothers, James, Tommy, Doyle, and Ricky Finley.

Those left to cherish Nina’s memory are her son, Ted Watts, Jr. and Colleen; daughter, Stephanie Taylor and Jerry; sister, Betty Whitis; numerous grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
