Memorial services for Montral (Ard) Hendrix, 75, of Paradise, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Paradise Church of Christ in Paradise.
Montral (Ard) Hendrix passed peacefully from this earth on January 29, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Montral (Ard) Hendrix was born on November 17, 1950, in Pensacola, Florida, to Cecil and Montez (Cartwright) Ard. She married the love of her life Guy Rodger Hendrix on June 1, 1973, in Pensacola, Florida. They shared 48 wonderful years together until his passing on March 30, 2021.
Montral (Ard) Hendrix was a nurse for 40 years. Before she retired to care for her husband she worked in home health as a pediatric care giver. She loved taking care of babies.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Guy; infant daughter, Nancy Christine Hendrix; three brothers, William David Ard, Donald Ray Ard, and Douglas Wayne Ard.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, JoAnn (Ard) Fernandez of Gretna, Louisiana and Dona Faye (Ard) Barnett and husband George of Paradise, Texas; nephews, Benjamin Ard Fernandez and wife Stephanie, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Christopher Fernandez and Amanda Carrillo, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Jimmy Barnett of Paradise, Texas; nieces, Melissa Stull and Jocab of Pace, Florida, Heather Barnett of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Johanna Barnett of Wichita Falls, Texas; and numerous other friends and extended family.
