Mike Manning

Michael Wayne Manning, 61, of Fort Worth, formerly of Bridgeport passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 in Lake Worth. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 17 in the chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Pastor Jack Skidmore. Burial will follow at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bob Kenyon, Elvy Kenyon, Lesley Hail, Billy Joe Patterson, Randy Manning, and Erick Manning. Mike was born April 17, 1952 to Norma Gene Manning and Dorothy Jean (Humes) in Ada, Oklahoma. In his earlier years Mike worked as a roustabout in the oilfield. His hobbies included fishing and bowling. He is survived by son Anthony Manning of Oregon; daughter Serena Manning of LaMirada, California; his mother Dorothy Jean Greene of Arlington, Texas; brother Randy Manning of Decatur; sisters Emma Chaffee of Bridgeport, Melinda Dickerson of Arlington, and Melanie D'Souza of Enterprise, Alabama; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
