Merle Eubanks

A graveside service for Merle Eubanks, 89, of Bridgeport will be Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm at East Bridgeport Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Morris Freeman. Pallbearers are Nolan Eubanks, Hayden Eubanks, Chad Eubanks, Bradley Brite, Chris Brite, and Billy Hamilton. Visitation will be Monday, June 6 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport from 6-8 pm. Merle passed away Saturday, June 4 in Bridgeport. Merle was born April 26, 1927 in Sunset, Texas to Robert and Loula Pearl (Emery) Lee. On June 19, 1947 she married Marvin Eubanks in Salinas, California. She was a cook for many years, and her hobbies included watching Texas Rangers baseball. She is survived by sons Don Eubanks and John Hedges; daughter LaDonna Eubanks; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Marvin Eubanks, son J.R. Eubanks, daughter Trenna Eubanks, Grandson Aaron Huggins, and granddaughters Hannah Turowski and Hannah Eubanks.
