Maurice Walker

Maurice Walker, 100, of Weatherford, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

A visitation is being held in the memory of Maurice at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport tonight Monday, November 13, from 6-8pm.

Maurice was born on December 19, 1916 to Mat and Mary (Mauldin) Allen in Park Springs, Texas. She was the former Co-owner of Gails Café in Bridgeport. Maurice loved to cook, dance, and sing.

She is survived by son Charles Walker and wife Kay; daughters Charlsa Smith, Patricia Posey, Kathy Kintz and husband John, Marilyn Carver, Pamela Horton and husband John; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband H.L. Walker, brother Floyd Allen, sister La Vern Earp, and daughter Gail Pugh.   

Arrangements are entrusted to Jones Family Funeral Home-Bridgeport.
