Maudene Vernon

Elizabeth Maudene Vernon passed away Monday, August 19, 2018 at her home in Chico, Texas, at the age of 86. No services are planned.

Maudene was born in Fort Worth, Texas on September 29, 1931 to Clyde Bailey and Margaret Lucille (Parrish) Underwood. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Bridgeport. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, canning and the company of dogs.

Maudene is survived by her son David Vernon of Chico, brother Wayne Underwood of Kennewick, Washington, and other family and friends, and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, William Paul Vernon, Jr.
