Marie Ann (Navarre) Kleam was born on December 3, 1945, in Crowley, Louisiana, to Clyde Sr. and Eva (Frederick) Navarre. She peacefully passed away on May 31, 2026, at her home in Bridgeport, Texas.
Marie was raised in Gueydan, Louisiana. She married Kenneth Wayne Kleam on July 25, 1969, in Orange, Texas, and spent many years serving as Food Manager for Bridgeport Independent School District.
Marie found great joy in cooking, listening to music, dancing, and spending time at her church. Above all, she loved being surrounded by family, especially her grandchildren. She had a special gift for bringing people together, and her kitchen was the heart of every gathering. To Marie, preparing food was more than just cooking — it was a way of creating memories and sharing love.
Marie Ann Kleam will be remembered for her warm heart, her kindness, and the love she brought to all the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed.
Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Kleam; parents, Clyde Sr. and Eva Navarre; sisters, Peggy Richard and Alice Thibodeaux; brother, Clyde “Bubba” Navarre, Jr.; grandparents, Villiere Navarre, Annetille Bonin, Felecian Frederick, and Marie Mennard.
Marie is survived by her sons, Donald Kleam and wife Melissa of Azle, Ronald Kleam and wife Betty of Bridgeport, and Jace Kleam of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Kenlee Kleam, Jack Kleam, Kareth Kleam, and Austin Baird; and many friends.
