Lisa Sipes

Lisa Sipes, of Bridgeport passed away on January 21, 2018 at home.

A memorial service will be Friday, February 2 at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church in Bridgeport..

Lisa was born on July 2, 1964 in Fort Worth, Texas to Dana (Choate) Read and Bobby Sipes. She was a graduate of Bridgeport High School and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bridgeport. Lisa worked as a claims adjuster for Aetna Insurance Company and attended court reporting school.  She loved going to concerts, watching movies and being in the company of her two dogs. 

Lisa is survived by her best friend and companion Tony Harveson; mother Dana Read, and father Bobby Sipes and wife Beverly.

She was preceded in death by sister Sheri Lyn Cox, step-father Marvin Read Sr., step brother Ronald Read and Zachery Gober.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint Jude Hospital or Wounded Warriors Project.
