Funeral services for Lisa Goodman, 58, of Decatur, Texas, will be held at 2 pm Monday, October 9, 2023, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Visitation will be held at 12 pm, two hours prior to the service, at the funeral home. Lisa, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 1, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished.

Born on May 18, 1965, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, to Richard and Wanda (Preston) Goodman. Lisa worked as a cashier at Walmart, where she greeted customers with a warm smile. Her infectious smile was especially radiant during the holidays, as she cherished those special times with her loved ones. Lisa believed in the power of positivity and always encouraged others to have fun and not take life too seriously. Her joyful spirit brightened the lives of those around her.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoyed various hobbies and interests. She had an extensive collection of all things "I Love Lucy" and found great joy in watching WWE matches. She loved spending time with her family and hosting lively cookouts that brought everyone together. Lisa also enjoyed the adventure of riding ATVs and embraced the role of being a dedicated grandma. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.
Those left to cherish Lisa’s memory are her son Reedie Joe Goodman of Kyle, Texas; daughter Donna Jo Green and husband Logan of Paradise, Texas; brothers Mikel Goodman and wife Barbara of Eastview, Kentucky, Marc Goodman of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Geoffrey Goodman of North Richland Hills, Texas; sister Donna Mott and husband Jim of Alvord, Texas; stepfather Teddy Rarick of Bridgeport, Texas; stepsister Melinda Johnston; grandchildren Camden and Carson Green of Paradise, Texas, and Austin Goodman of Azle, Texas.

Lisa is preceded in death by her mother Wanda Faye Rarick of Bridgeport, Texas; father Richard Arnold Goodman of Eastview, Kentucky; and grandparents Willard and Wilda Preston of Cecilia, Kentucky, and Lawrence and Eleanor Goodman of Eastview, Kentucky.
