Linda Trimmer

Linda Lee Trimmer, 52, of Decatur, Texas passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Decatur. She will be forever loved, missed and remembered. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 6, 2015 in the Chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas. Linda was born May 3, 1963 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Elizabeth “Betty” (Beal) and Raymond Trimmer. She was a homemaker and a mother who enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and being a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. She once won an award for “Best Hot Wings on the East Coast.” She was a member of Anchor Baptist Church. She married Peter Woodward in Biddeford, Maine. She is survived by her husband of thirteen years Peter Woodward; sons Chan and Chac Trimmer; daughters Mylinh and Loan Nguyen; brothers Robert Trimmer and Raymond Teddy Trimmer; brother-in-law Roy “Jr.” Elston; sister Martha Elston; and grandchildren Damian Trimmer, Cameron D. Nguyen, and Chloe Nguyen. She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth “Betty” Parsons, father Jack Dorcel Parsons, sister Letty “Pixie” Trimmer, and nephew David Daniel Roux.
