Linda Miller

Mrs. Linda Manning Miller, 75, of Decatur, passed away May 31, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 3 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Decatur. Chancellor and Jones Family Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Mrs. Miller was born in Decatur on December 24, 1940 to Travis and Bertha (Patterson) Manning. She was Land Manager of the North Texas Division for Mitchell and Devon Energy until 2009. In her spare time, she loved to garden and read. She loved her family dearly! Mrs. Miller leaves behind her husband of 32 years, J. K. Miller; daughters, Cathy Childers and her husband Sonny, Robyn Buckner, Jamie Riley and her husband Ross; son, Mark Buckner and wife Sandra; brother, Kenneth Manning; six grandchildren, Teri Houchin and husband Thomas, Madison Buckner, Travis Buckner, Bryson Buckner, Phil Childers, Meagan Harbert and husband Brian, Caitlyn Jenkins and husband Braden; and seven great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
