Leo Frederick

Leo Aaron Frederick, 83, of Paradise, Texas passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 in Decatur, Texas. Graveside services will be at 11:15 AM Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas. Leo was born June 18, 1931 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Gertrude Lee (Bessie) and Ralph Frederick. He quit school in order to serve his country and received his diploma and college credits through the military. He served in the U. S. Air Force for twenty-one years. He married Margery Lou McNamara on August 1, 1966 in Waco, Texas. After he retired from the military, Leo was a carpenter in the construction business. He and Margery have lived in Wise County, Texas since 1978. Leo enjoyed hunting, fishing, and carpentry. He was a Mason and member of Anchorage Lodge No. 17. Leo is survived by his wife; sons David Frederick and wife Mindy of La Jolla, California, Aaron Frederick and wife Kari of Argyle, Texas, Thomas Taylor and wife Brenda of Justin, Texas, and Mark Taylor and wife Donna of Euless, Texas; daughter Diana Wallace and husband Allen of Fort Worth, Texas; sister Arlene Carroll of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; son Alan Wayne Frederick; and grandson Bryce Taylor.
