Lenora Mattes

Lenora C. Mattes, age 92, of Decatur passed away October 28, 2015 in Decatur. A memorial service will be held in Vandalia, Illinois at the Fairlawn Cemetery at a time to be determined later. Lenora was born in Vandalia, Illinois on July 20, 1923. She was a homemaker. Lenora was a member of the Decatur Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bridge and bingo. Lenora is survived by daughters Clara (Jo) McKinney and husband Colonel Dan R. McKinney and Pamela Rouleau and husband David; grandchildren Missy and Gary Johnson, Rick and Diana McKinney, David and Marine McKinney, Mia and Gil Russo, Stan and Danelle Rouleau, and Jeff and Michelle Rouleau; and great grandchildren Haley Johnson, Mathew Johnson, Westin McKinney, Rylee McKinney, Chase Russo, David L Rouleau, Braden Rouleau, Ethan Rouleau, and Olivia Rouleau. She was preceded in death by husband Harold E. Mattes of Decatur, Texas and son Capt. Stanley H. Mattes of Naples, Italy.
