Memorial services for Lena “Belle” Moffett, 43, of Chico, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2025, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Lena “Belle” Michelle Moffett was born on November 19, 1981, in Abilene, Texas, to Richard and Cherri (Frizz) Moffett, and passed from this life on June 17, 2025, in Decatur, Texas. Lena Belle graduated from Chico High School and attended Ogle Cosmetology School. She worked as a hairdresser for ten years, showcasing her talent and creativity.

Lena Belle was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her. Her name, meaning "Light," was a perfect reflection of her vibrant personality. She had an incredible ability to brighten any room she entered with her laughter and larger-than-life spirit.

An artist at heart, Lena Belle embraced her creativity and shared it joyfully with the world. She loved reading and music, which brought her happiness throughout her life. Lena Belle had a special fondness for “critters”, especially cats, and she could often be found caring for and enjoying the company of her furry friends.

Lena Belle leaves behind loving memories for her family and friends to cherish forever. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Godspeed and travel well, sweet lady. Your light may have left our sight, but it will forever illuminate our hearts.

Lena Belle is preceded in death by her father, Richard Lloyd Moffett; sister, Emily Grace Wilson; grandmother, Beverly Goddard; and aunts, Jeannie Rudd and Renee Fowler.

Those left to cherish Lena Belle’s memory are her mother, Cherri Moffett Wilson and friend Scott Huckabee of Sunset, Texas; brothers, Walker Lloyd Moffett and wife Abby of Bridgeport, Texas, and Tyler Lee Moffett of Chico, Texas; sister, Rachel Michelle Wilson of Bowie, Texas; aunts, Dianna Dever and husband Dick of Branchport, New York, Lena “Cookie” and husband CB of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Cyndi and husband Mike of Arlington, Texas; uncle Ken Kerbie of Palo Pinto County, Texas; and a host of friends.
