Memorial service for Laurie Lange, 63, of Runaway Bay, will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 12, at Hudson and Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. David Mosley will officiate.
Laurie was born February 12, 1962, in Bridgeport, Texas to Jerry Beard and Joyce Haney Beard. She went to be with our lord on July 1, 2025, in Denton, Texas.
On February 16, 1980, Laurie married Mark D. Lange at St. Peters Episcopal Church in Van Horn, Texas.
Laurie graduated from Van Horn High School in 1980 and then went on to Midwestern State University and graduated in 2010 with a BSN in nursing. She also was a member of the International Honor Society of Nurses. She retired as a Registered Nurse.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those she influenced and inspired throughout her life. Laurie will be deeply missed by her family and friends and all that had the privilege to know her.
Laurie is proceeded in death by her Father Jerry Beard of Bridgeport, Texas, son Mathew Lange of Runaway Bay, Texas and Niece Shannon Hofacket of Marathon, Texas.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Mark Lange; son Jeremy Lange and wife Brittany of Flower Mound, Texas; mother Joyce Haney Beard of Bridgeport, Texas; brother Jerry Dan Beard of Richmond, Texas; sister Melanie Harris of Chico, Texas; grandchildren, Jameson and Levi Lange of Flower Mound.
