Kathryn Louise Joseph

Kathryn Louise Joseph, 63, from Bowie, Texas, went to be with our Lord, June 7, 2017 after a fatal car crash. Visitation will be June 9, from 6-8 PM at Jones Family Funeral Home in Decatur. Services will be in the chapel of Jones Family Funeral Home-Decatur at 10:00 AM, June 10.  Jones Family Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Kathryn was born October 19, 1953 to George Pelton and Joyce Kathryn (Pyeatt) Joseph in Longview, Texas. She worked at Albertson’s as the Meat Deli Supervisor and was an avid crafter and gardener. She loved her family dearly, was diligent in her work, and maintained a passion for life and others throughout the years. She mirrored Jesus in the way that she created thing with her hands and found joy in her work; she was known for her big smile and bigger heart.

Kathryn leaves behind her daughter Christy Carlson, and husband Jerry; granddaughter, Reighley Carlson; and grandson, Gentry Carlson all of Boyd, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Joseph, and Elizabeth Joseph.
