Graveside services for Kathryn Cross, 67, of Chico, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Thomas Cemetery in Bridgeport. David Mosley will officiate.
Kathryn Lee (Fitzgerald) Cross was born June 23, 1958, in Norfolk, Virginia, to Marie Fitzgerald, and went to be with the Lord on October 2, 2025, in Decatur, Texas.
On November 3, 1973, Kathryn married Terry Cross in Fort Worth, Texas, and they enjoyed a beautiful marriage that lasted over 50 years. Their bond was a testament to their love and commitment to one another.
Kathryn was a dedicated registered nurse, known for her compassion and care for others. Throughout her life, she pursued her passions, which included flying and sky diving. Kathryn also found joy in sharing her faith with those around her.
Her spirit and passion for life will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Kathryn's legacy of kindness, adventure, and faith will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wayne Marshall.
Those left to cherish Kathryn’s memory are her husband, Terry Cross; son, Terry Cross, Jr.; daughter, Tanya Niccum; sisters, Tina and Holly; grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, and Justin; and five great-grandchildren.
