Kathleen Mary Dynes, age 87, of Bridgeport, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025. Kathleen was born on December 27, 1938, and was the beloved daughter of Mary L. Pittman and Clair Forsberg. She devoted her life to her family and was a proud homemaker, finding her greatest joy in caring for those she loved.

On July 26, 1957, Kathleen married the love of her life, Leslie H. Dynes, in Ridgefield, Washington. Together they shared 49 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, faith, and family.

Kathleen was a faithful member of the Community of Christ and lived her life guided by compassion, kindness, and strength. She enjoyed knitting, reading, traveling, and gardening. She was an advocate for children’s education and generously helped those who were less fortunate. Those who knew her will remember her warm heart, her steady presence, and her deep devotion to her family.

She is survived by her brother Vern Forsberg; her daughters Kellie L. Wells, Heidi L. Bragg, and Heather J. McCloskey; her cherished grandchildren Dakota Dynes, Billie Jo Dynes, Tasha Dynes, Sarah Johnson, James Ross, Ben Johnston, Sierra Boespflug, Rachel Bragg, Tayler Andrews, Tucker McCloskey, and Wyatt McCloskey; nine great-grandchildren; and extended family and loved ones who will cherish her memory always.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her beloved husband Leslie H. Dynes; her daughter Brooke Scully; her son Daven Dynes; her parents Mary Pittman and Clair Forsberg; her sister Loleen Crook; and loving companion, Jim Rowan.

Kathleen’s legacy of love, faith, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
