Kate Fostel

Kate Marie Fostel, 33, of Plano, Texas passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral services are at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at First United Methodist Church of Decatur, Texas. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Brian Bosworth will officiate. Pallbearers are Ken Thompson, Jason Wren, Landon Wren, Jake Williamson, Chris Mattison, Trey McKinnon, and David Stoeneman. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Chancellor and Jones Family Funeral Home in Decatur. Kate was born March 26, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas to Cheryl and John Fostel. She was a teacher who loved her dog, reading, watching movies, and especially spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her father John Fostel and wife Cathy; mother Cheryl Fostel; brothers Josh Fostel and wife Katey of Clyde, Texas and Chris Fostel and wife Gabby of Odessa, Texas; stepbrother and sister Justin Cortez of Chico, Texas and Meagan Hood and husband A. J. of Decatur; nieces and nephews Karli, Laney, Layla, Jordyn Kate, Eden, and Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
