John Clifford Whitehead

John Clifford Whitehead, 84, of Boyd, Texas, passed away July 19, in Decatur.  Visitation will be held at Grace Baptist Church, Thursday, July 20 from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be Friday, July 21, at 2:00 at Grace Baptist Church with Dr. Van Gardner and Brother Bill Hughes officiating.  Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.  Jones Family Funeral Home-Decatur is handling the services.

John was retired from Gifford-Hill after 20 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, and gambling. John was known for his work ethic and always made sure his family was taken care of.

John is survived by his daughter, Cindy Whitehead of Boyd; sons, Tim Whitehead and wife Sherry of North Richland Hills, and Scott Whitehead and wife Diana of Azle; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
