Jodie Douglas

Jodie Fay Douglas, 68, passed away April 23, 2018 in Bowie. Graveside service will be Thursday April 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Annetta Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday at Jones Family Funeral Home in Decatur.

Jodie was born November 3, 1949 in San Fernando, CA to Walter E. and Lois M. Brannon. She married John "Midge" Douglas in December of 1983 in east Texas. Jodie loved to fish and hunt with her husband. She was a homemaker and a faithful Christian. Jodie loved her family and will be missed by everyone.

Jodie was preceded in death by her husband, John "Midge" Douglas; son, John Winston Douglas; parents, Walter and Lois Brannon.

Jodie is survived by her son, John Walter Brannon and wife Darla; daughter, Marie Lynn Allen; son, Lawrence Wayne Kemp and wife Julie; sisters; Mary Rene Michael, Helen Golden and husband Jerry; seven grandchildren; great grandson, Alex Brannon; numerous nieces and nephews.
