Jesse "Buddy" Hill

A Celebration of Life for Jesse “Buddy” Lee Hill, Jr., 62, of Garland, Texas, will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Born May 11, 1961, in Queens, New York, to Jesse Lee Hill, Sr. and Roberta Joan Hill, Jesse was a graduate of Desoto High School and ran track for his school team.  A maintenance technician for most of his adult life, Jesse lived his life filled with love.  He genuinely cherished his family and had a true love and kindness for animals, especially his cat, Sir.  Jesse also found great solace in working in the yard and fixing antique clocks.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents; stepdaughter Starla Joanne Royer; sister Rita Tarrant and her husband Billy; and nephews Kyle Lute, Jason Welch and Christopher Hill.

He is survived by his daughter Jessica Hill of Irving; sisters Juanita Hill of Tyler, Lori Arvin and husband Steve of Malakoff; brothers Robert Hill and wife Bettina of Bridgeport, Richard Hill and wife Kimberly of Seymour; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; a host of loving co-workers and friends, and his cat, Sir.
