Jason Wayne Simmons

Services for Jason Simmons, 41, of Midland, formerly of Bridgeport, Texas will be 10:30 am Monday, November 16, 2020 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Pastor Bill Hughes. Jason passed away November 1 in Midland.

He was born February 23, 1979 in Tyler, Texas to James Bobby Simmons and Judy Darlene (Hudson) Simmons. He married Samantha Durand on September 6, 2008 in Springtown, Texas.

Jason and his family moved to Midland in April 2015 and he worked as a natural gas compressor mechanic for several companies in West Texas.

Jason was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, and riding anything with a motor. He also enjoyed watching sports, particularly his Washington Football Team.

He leaves behind his loving family, including wife Samantha Simmons of Midland; daughters Abigail Nett, Danica Simmons, and Jacqueline Simmons; mother Darlene Simmons, father Bobby Simmons; and numerous other family.

Jason was preceded in death by stepmother Martha Simmons, brothers Ricky and Henry Walton, and several other family members.
