James King

James Wayne King, 47, of Bridgeport, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Bridgeport. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Cuba Road Church in Bridgeport. Pastor Joey Vick will officiate. King was born December 4, 1966 in Fort Worth, Texas to Brenda (Thomason) and John King. He was a truck driver who loved fishing and camping. He married Taria Gatewood on April 20, 2008. He is survived by his wife of six years; son Waylon Ray of Red Oak, Texas; Daughter Crystal Warren and husband Tony Avant of Whitney, Texas; mother Brenda King; brothers Myrl Thomason and wife Marian, Edward King, Sr., Brian King and wife Amy, and Danny King and wife Sherry; sister Vicki King; and grandchildren Braedon Warren and Jax Avant. He is preceded in death by his father; sister-in-law Judy King; grandparents Raye and John Thomason and Lena and Johnnie King.
