A Celebration of Life for James Hall, 60, of Bridgeport, Texas, will be held at a later date.
James “Bubba” Lynn Hall was born December 4, 1964, in Bridgeport, Texas, to Lewis and Lockade (Bellah) Hall, and passed away August 8, 2025, in Bridgeport.
Bubba attended Bridgeport High School and furthered his education in Auto Mechanics, showcasing his hands-on approach to life.
He was known for his love of watching westerns, riding dirt bikes, swimming in the creek, and spending countless hours fishing and hunting. His friends knew him as a storyteller, sharing tales that brought joy and laughter to those around him.
Bubba had a special talent for being the watchman of his neighborhood in Lake Bridgeport, earning a reputation as the best one to ever grace the area. His kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Above all, Bubba treasured spending time with his children and grandchildren. As a proud father of three sons, he poured his heart into every moment shared with them. His neighbors admired not only his watchful eye but also the warm heart that made him one of the kindest souls they had ever known.
To know Bubba was to love him. His honorable nature and warmth meant that he will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his grandparents, D.W. and Juanita Bellah, and Fred and Nora Stevens Hall.
Those left to cherish Bubba’s memory are his sons, JL Hall of Lubbock, Texas, Andrew Hall and wife Stephanie of Cottondale, Texas, Dustin Hall of Bridgeport, Texas and wife Mackenzie of Decatur, Texas; grandchildren, Curtis, Aria, and Avery; sisters, Vicky Hall of Bridgeport, Texas, and Linda Sissy Kennedy and husband Ryan of Bridgeport, Texas; niece, Brittany Hall and children Johnathan and Jordan of Haslet; and a host of other family members and friends.
