Memorial services for Iris Elizabeth Otoole, formerly of Bridgeport, Texas, will be held at 11am Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Iris Elizabeth Otoole, a beloved housewife, passed away on June 3, 2023, in San Francisco, California, at the age of 59. She was born on June 9, 1963, to Howard Lane and Linda Ann Largent, and was known for her lively spirit. Iris embraced life with a passion that touched the hearts of all those around her.
Iris was a woman of many passions and interests. She had an incredible love for music, dance, and outdoor activities. Whether it was tapping her feet to the rhythm of her favorite tunes or exploring the beauty of nature, Iris found solace and happiness in these activities. Her enthusiasm for life was contagious, as she encouraged those around her to embrace their own passions and find joy in the little things.
She is survived by her sons Edward Abel Gonzales of Pennsylvania and Michael Anthony Gonzales of San Antonio, Texas; sisters Nellie Mountcastle, April Largent of Waco, Texas, Elizabeth Ann Martinez of Chico, Texas; grandchildren Christian Manuel Rodriguez and Malakai Steven Sahagun of Bridgeport, Texas; and great-grandchild Amber Sahagun of Bridgeport, Texas.
Iris is preceded in death by her parents Linda Ann Largent and Howard Lane; grandparents Anita Laverne and Lester Clements Dickson; brother Stanley Lester Poynor; and daughter Amber Lesha Gonzales.
