Irene Watts

Irene Watts, 97, of Decatur, Texas, went to be with our Lord on July 26, 2017, in Decatur.  Services are Saturday, July 29, at 11:00 AM, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Alvord, Texas, with visitation one hour before.  Services are being handled by Jones Family Funeral Home-Decatur.

Irene was a long-time member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Alvord, Texas. She loved to paint, shop, and dancing. She loved her family very much.

She leaves behind, her son Bobby Watts and wife Estelle; daughter-in-law Naomi Watts; grandchildren, Dale Watts and wife Celissa, Lura Oates and husband Chuck, Dewayne Watts and wife Debbie, Danny Watts, and Callie Manning and husband David; and several great- grandchildren, and great- great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, O'dell Watts; son, Mike Watts, and grand-daughter, Penny Watts.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Jonestown Cemetery,  P.O. Box 196, Alvord, Texas 76225.
