Helen Lucille Lee

Graveside service for Helen Lucille Lee, 80, of Chico, Texas will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at West Bridgeport Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Bill Hughes. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Friday, March 20 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home. Helen passed away Monday, March 16 in Bridgeport.

She was born on April 13, 1939 in Chico, Texas to Elijah Lee and Edith Edna (Lough) Bays. Helen was the youngest daughter. She was married to JF Lee on November 13, 1954. They were married for 37 years. She was a housewife for most of her life and raised six children during that time.

She enjoyed working in the flower beds and being outside. Helen really enjoyed cooking for the family.

Helen leaves behind her sons Johnny Lee and wife Susan of Ponder, Texas, Ricky Lee and wife Audie of Chico, Texas, Frank Lee of Bowie, Texas and wife Teresa of Utah, Dennis Lee and wife Mary of Weatherford, Texas: brothers Harold Bays and wife Alena of Rhome, Texas and Tommy and wife Rosalie of Azle, Texas; special cousin and friend Terry Skinner of Boyd, Texas; 15 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren and  many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, daughters Marion Joyce Ramsey and Rena Michele Duncan; brothers EB Bays of Ponca City, Oklahoma; sisters Peggy Adams of Justin, Texas and Culene Cavasos of Bowie, Texas and great-granddaughter Emily.
