Guadalupe DeLuna

Mass of Christian burial for Guadalupe DeLuna, 63, of Bridgeport will be at Jones Family Funeral Home Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11 am, officiated by Father Reehan Antony. Burial will follow at Boonsville Cemetery. DeLuna passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 in Decatur. Pallbearers are Jaime DeLuna, Raymond DeLuna, Sesar Vargas, Jorge DeLuna, Armando Martinez, and Jose Zuniga. Visitation will be at Jones Family Funeral Home Friday, December 27 from 6-8 pm, with rosary being recited at 7 pm. Guadalupe was born April 23, 1950 in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico to Francisco and Maria de la Luz (Escobedo) Zuniga. On August 14, 1968 she married Jose Maria DeLuna, and lived in Bridgeport since 1969. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Bridgeport. She leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Jose DeLuna; sons Jaime DeLuna of Bridgeport, and Raymond DeLuna of Bellevue, Texas; daughter Cristina Vargas DeLuna of Decatur; and grandchildren Marcos DeLuna, Adrian Vargas, Cristian Vargas, Jocelyn Vargas, and Trystynn DeLuna. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son Jose Alberto DeLuna.
