Funeral services for Glynn Caldwell, 66, of Chico, Texas, will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, December 1, 2023, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery #3 in Chico. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the funeral home. Dr. Bill Hughes will be officiating.
Pallbearers will include Michael McDaniel, Zac Clenndennen, and James Willyard.
Glynn was born on April 7, 1957, in Decatur, Texas, to James and June (King) Caldwell, and peacefully passed away November 22, 2023, in Chico, Texas. Glynn was known for his love of working on motorcycles and racing cars. He had an uncanny ability to fix any mechanical problem that came his way. Glynn would spend hours tinkering with engines, fine-tuning the machines to perfection. His dedication to his craft earned him a reputation as a skilled, dependable mechanic, and truck driver in his community. In addition, Glynn enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and even participated in rodeo events in his younger years. The memory of Glynn Caldwell will be forever treasured by his loved ones.
Those left to cherish Glynn’s memory are his loving wife of thirteen years Sherry Caldwell; sons Matthew McGaha, Michael Caldwell and wife Karla, and Justin Caldwell; daughters Stacy O´steen and partner Zac Murray and Jessica McGaha and husband Zac Clenndennen; brother Larry Caldwell and wife Debbie; sister Helen Capps and husband James; two grandchildren Logan and Hazel; nieces Mello-Dee Capps and Candi Bolivar; great-nephews Grayson Rutledge and Gage Bolivar; and his loving dog Blew.
Glynn was welcomed into Heaven by his parents; niece Melissa Capps; father-in-law Richard Harrington Sr.; best friend CW Lee; and his loyal dog Rex.
