Funeral services for Evelyn McDaniel, 89, of Caddo, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery in Bridgeport. Visitation will take place from 1- 2 p.m. on Saturday, one hour before the service, at the funeral home.
Evelyn Frances (Crumbley) McDaniel was born on February 15, 1937, in Brady, Texas, to Joe Marion and Mamie (Marshall) Crumbley. She passed away peacefully on her 89th birthday, February 15, 2026, in Caddo, Oklahoma. She lived a full life dedicated to her family and her faith in God.
Evelyn married Tommy Jack McDaniel on March 17, 1955, and they shared many wonderful years together until his passing in 2010. Evelyn was a loving wife and a devoted mother. She cherished her family deeply, always pouring her love into them and creating lasting memories that will be treasured for generations.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Jack; son-in-law, Kenneth Herrington; brother, Edward Crumbley and wife Mabel; sisters, Alma Lee Martin and husband Sammy, Marjorie Caldwell and husband George, and Nadine Kamin and husband Ray.
Those left to cherish Evelyn’s memory are her son, Larry McDaniel and wife Vicki; daughters, Linda Herrington (Matt Miller) and Pam Cox; brother, Clarence Crumbley and wife Beverly; grandchildren, Krista Herrington, T.J. Herrington and wife Juli, Tonya Elmore and husband Scott, Sha Conway and husband Brandon, Bo McDaniel, Valerie Cook and husband Brian, Jill Colombo and husband Dean, and Josh McDaniel and wife Brittany; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends.
Evelyn's love for her family and her faith will be remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the generations she touched.
