Eric Wayne Outlaw was born on February 25, 1969, in Dayton, Texas, to Lonnie and Linda (Lee) Outlaw, and passed away on July 8, 2025, in Gainesville, Texas.
Eric had a passion for the outdoors, finding great pleasure in fishing and hunting. He cherished the time spent outside with nature, where he felt at home. Eric was also known for his fantastic sense of humor, his main goal in life was to bring laughter to everyone he met. His ability to make people smile was one of his greatest gifts.
Additionally, Eric was also a generous soul and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, often putting others before himself. He had a big heart and cherished his family and friends deeply. Family and friends meant the world to him.
A true lover of life, Eric's spirit and kindness left a lasting impression on those who knew him. He will be fondly remembered for his laughter, generosity, and the joy he brought to the lives of others.
Eric is preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Outlaw and grandparents, Ocie and Nancy Lee, all of Cleveland, Texas.
Those left to cherish Eric’s memory are his mother, Linda Cooper and husband Terry of Bridgeport, Texas; stepdaughters, DeeAmber Nelson and Dakota Haring; sisters, Erin Outlaw Scarpinato of Bridgeport, Texas, and Kristen Cooper Dunnam of Cedar Park, Texas; nieces, Jazinay Woods Outlaw, Violet Dunnam, and Kiara Scarpinato; nephews, Chase Holder, Noel Woods Outlaw, and Cayleb Woods-Outlaw; and a host of family and friends.
